WHY THERE MAY BE A BILL
The policy begins with estimated payroll and operations. At audit, the insurer reviews records from the policy period to determine final premium. A difference can result from higher payroll, how work was classified, or other rating details.
An additional charge is not automatically an error. We can help you compare the audit statement with your policy and records and raise supported questions with the carrier.

COMMON QUESTIONS
The initial premium usually uses estimated payroll. The final audit uses records for the policy period. Higher payroll, different work classifications, and other policy rating details can change the result. We compare the audit with your declarations, payroll reports, and the carrier’s worksheet.
If the audited payroll or classification does not match supported records, you can ask the insurer to review it. We help identify the specific item, gather the right documents, and communicate the question to the carrier. A correction is not guaranteed.
They may. The auditor may request contracts, payment records, licenses, and certificates of insurance. Keep the documentation for the actual policy period and follow the carrier’s instructions.
